Kelli and Zach have been friends forever – these two have grown up together. So after photographing Zach, I was so excited to meet Kelli! Kelli has also been friends with Jillian for most of her life! Kelli is a Senior at Howard High School, and she is on the cheerleading team. I danced in high school, but my sister was the true talent – she did dance every year and was on the Poms team all four years. Because of all those dance performances and Poms competitions I attended, I’ve grown to love both sports, so I was so excited to hear that Kelli was a cheerleader (and she did some jumps for pictures – so awesome!). Kelli was SO fun to work with – she came with bags upon bags of clothes, shoes, and scarves – this girl was prepared! (You can see that Kelli and Jillian both have amazing scarf collections!). It was awesome because we got to do so many different outfits (I even lent her the necklace I was wearing for some pictures – I loved how the white popped against her green dress!). Kelli was willing to lay in the leaves and walk through high grass – which made for some amazing pictures! And Kelli’s mom helped so much – she carried Kelli’s bags of clothes and then entertained our silly foster dog, Cooper, while Kelli and I did her formal portraits inside (I’m pretty sure Cooper was ready to head home with them!). I love these Senior pictures and I am so excited to share them; Kelli was such a natural and totally comfortable in front of the camera. We had a great time, and it shows!
