On Saturday, December 23, I had the honor of photographing Emerson’s Debutante party at her family’s home in Hagerstown, Maryland. Emerson’s party was truly spectacular; this was the most beautiful party ever! Emerson and her mother, Haven, worked with Lemon & Lime Event Design to create a magical Christmas-themed Debutante party for 180 guests.
Lemon & Lime Event Design are so talented and they give SO much thought to each and every detail. It is clear that every element of Emerson’s beautiful Debutante party were so carefully thought out – and there were SO many special, unique touches. Haven and the Lemon & Lime team has a beautiful vision; Haven and Brandon’s home is just gorgeous, and it was so beautifully decorated for the holidays. The Christmas theme carried throughout, with ornaments, festive colors, and lovely pine details. The Younger family’s home is already stunning, but Ashley, Katey, Morgan, and Jackie from Lemon & Lime Event Design transformed the outdoor space into an incredible indoor party space. The Younger’s backyard was tented and heated with two tents, and INCREDIBLE floral arrangements were installed throughout the outdoors by Victoria Clausen Florals. Just wait until you see this Debutante party! It is SPECTACULAR!
As guests arrived, the exterior of the Younger’s home was decorated with pine greens and lanterns lined the walkway. Inside, guests were greeted by staff from Rogue Catering and handed a speciality custom cocktail – in a Christmas ornament! These beautiful cocktails that the Lemon & Lime team dreamed up are the prettiest drinks I have ever seen! A wall filled with cocktails and adorned with the word “Cheers!” welcomed guests to the Younger home, and the Younger family greeted each guest as they arrived.
The main tent featured a double herringbone detailed bar, seating around two raised fire pits, cocktail tables, an oyster bar, and so many gorgeous details: beautiful hanging lanterns, mercury glass votives, and lots of gorgeous flowers. A covered walkway led to a second tent, which was filled with a custom dance floor, magenta flowers, a Frosé bar (frozen rose!), DJ Kyle with Mixing Maryland, and an INCREDIBLE garland of flowers and ornaments wrapping from the tent ceiling, down the fireplace, and to the floor. It was spectacular! There was so much for guests to see and do inside and out.
Guests also had three bars; one was a gorgeous Frose bar alongside the dance floor. The Frosé bar by Mixin’ Mimi’s Mixology was such a huge hit; everyone loved it! There was also a whiskey bar in the library, and a full, beautiful bar in the main tent, complete with gorgeous gold accents and double herringbone detailing. There was also an oyster bar, a variety of passed hor d’oeuvres, and in the dining room, a full spread of delicious food, such as crab fondue.
There were also so many special details for Emerson. Emerson is a lacrosse player, so there were custom gold lacrosse stick drink stirrers at the bar! There was also a huge floral “E” wreath in the main tented area, and the bars had “Cheers to Emerson” drink napkins. Everyone had so much fun mingling and celebrating. This is the sort of party you just want to be a guest at! And the Younger family is so kind and welcoming; these four are such nice people and they welcomed everyone with open arms. I was telling my family about Emerson’s beautiful Debutante party the following night as we were eating Christmas Eve dinner, and my dad discovered that he had known Brandon’s father; in fact, my dad bought his very first Toyota from Brandon’s father in the early 1970’s! What a small world!

Emerson’s invitation suite is stunning! The invitations were trimmed around the edge in red, and the gold calligraphy gold details was just stunning! 
Can you believe that this was their backyard? What an INCREDIBLE transformation!!

The floral design over the fireplace was SPECTACULAR!! I have never seen anything like it! And how fun is the custom “Shall We Dance” dance floor?
Nothing was overlooked – even the walkway between the tents was beautifully decorated!
Haven and Brandon’s home was beautifully decorated for Christmas.
Guests were treated to a wonderful spread of food, as well as passed hor d’oeuvres and desserts and an oyster bar, all by the fantastic team at Rogue Catering.

As guests arrived, they were treated to a beautiful Christmas cocktail in an ornament glass! These were GORGEOUS!
I had to include a picture of the family’s sweet dog!
At the end of the evening, guests left with a sweet ornament from the Younger family filled with delicious Mouth Party Caramels.
Later in the evening, guests were treated to a hot cocoa bar, complete with marshmallows, peppermint sticks, and of course, some holiday spirits! How cute is the “E” marshmallow in honor of Emerson?
