My sister is so photogenic. Seriously – I could hand one of my dogs my camera and she could get awesome pictures of Kelsey (plus, my dogs are pretty talented photographers… they certainly have enough experience being the SUBJECT of lots of pictures!!). Kelsey is just so comfortable in front of the camera – whereas I would rather be behind the camera. As soon as someone starts taking my picture, I am so awkward!
Kelsey just finished her second year of grad school and had one week off before rotations began, so on Memorial Day, we went out for a photo shoot. Any guesses where this is? As soon as I showed Justin these pictures – literally in the first three seconds – he knew where they were. (And then a friend of mine asked me over the weekend, “were those shots in Maple Lawn?”) Yes – it’s Maple Lawn! How is this place so recognizable? It is nice because it looks a bit city-like, but it is not that crowded (especially on Memorial Day, when everything was closed).
