I am so happy to share Kristen and Chris’ beautiful engagement session!!
Kristen and Chris have been together for seven years and last year, on Christmas, Chris proposed to Kristen with the most beautiful engagement ring (so magical!!). And now these two are planning their wedding for next Fall!
I photographed Kristen’s sister, Kate’s, wedding in 2019 and it has been so nice getting to know their families over the last few years. Kate and Rob just welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby girl, and now Kristen and Chris are getting married. There are so many wonderful things happening!
For their engagement session, I met up with Kristen and Chris at one of their favorite places: beautiful Baywood Greens near Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Kristen’s family has had a vacation house at Baywood Greens for 19 years, so Kristen grew up spending summers at Baywood. This area is so important to them and it was such an honor to explore Baywood Greens and their beautiful neighborhood community with Kristen and Chris, Kristen’s wonderful parents, Linda and Steve, and their dog, Charlie.
Baywood Greens is known for their stunning flowers, with a variety of different blooms throughout the year. Kristen and Chris planned for late August and it was SPECTACULAR! Baywood is truly immaculate and it was so fun exploring different areas and seeing the beautiful flowers around the golf course. The light was absolutely amazing and we got so, so many incredible photos (I have SO many favorites!!). Baywood Greens is also a wedding venue, and we got some beautiful photos at the ceremony site at sunset overlooking the water (so gorgeous!). We even got some gorgeous photos with the moon above Kristen and Chris – we were so lucky!
It was so much fun riding around on the golf carts with Kristen, Chris, Linda, Steve, and Charlie. These four know this golf course so well and they chose such great spots around the course for photos. And it was so fun meeting Charlie. He loves riding on the golf cart and jumping off for a little game of fetch :) Kristen, Chris, Linda, and Steve are SO nice and welcoming and I felt like family visiting them.
Thank you all for welcoming us to your beautiful vacation home and golf community! This was such a fun engagement session and I have SO many favorites!! Congratulations, Kristen and Chris!! I can’t wait for your wedding next year and I am so happy for you two!!
