I was SO excited when Luke’s mom sent me an email asking about Senior portraits because Luke is a Senior at River Hill High School – the high school I graduated from!! I loved my time at River Hill and I really enjoyed photographing other River Hill students, like Kylie and Lia. It was awesome working with a River Hill student – we got to chat about some shared teachers and experiences. Luke will be graduating this spring and he already has already decided on a major (I know – impressive, right?).
It was awesome because it was such a warm, beautiful day when Luke and I met up for his senior portraits. We started near my house (which happens to be almost in the same neighborhood as Luke’s house!) then went to gorgeous Centennial Park, which was perfect for pictures! I love it there, and we headed up to this huge old tree that made for a stunning backdrop. Then we stopped off at a beautiful bright red tree that was perfect – I am so glad we did that because I absolutely love the vibrant, colorful pictures we got there! Luke was such a good sport about the pictures the entire time. He is such a nice and easygoing guy – and I know pictures are not that much fun for guys! Plus, he had some great outfits for the pictures – lots of colors and variety – which is so important. I also had a great time chatting with Luke’s mom during our shoot; I always have so much fun getting to know the people I am photographing, and senior sessions are so great for that.
Enjoy Luke’s senior pictures!!
I love these ones with the old fence! I told Luke that this almost looked like some sort of set – the tree and backdrop were just perfect! So beautiful!
You can really see the colorful leaves here!
The colorful boats at Centennial Lake made for a great backdrop!
I love these colorful leaves!
I always like to get a picture of the graduating senior with their mom. I love this one of Luke and Eileen :)
Good luck in college, Luke!
