In December, my mom, sister, and I went to New Orleans, Lousiana for the first time ever! I truly had no idea what to expect from New Orleans, but we all fell in love! The beignets were wonderful, the architecture of the city was incredible, the outskirts of the city were so nice, the food was GREAT, and the people were so friendly! We especially LOVED El Gato Negro (we ate there THREE times!), the beignets (seriously… I don’t even really like donuts or funnel cakes, but these were SO good), and we loved seeing the city! These are just a few photos from the day we visited gorgeous Oak Alley Plantation, which was about a one hour drive from New Orleans. This was such a fun day; my mom and I had lunch at the plantation, and then spent the afternoon exploring the beautiful grounds. I would love to return to New Orleans!
My mom took this of me outside of Oak Alley Plantation :)
I seriously have a fascination with water lilies; they are just so beautiful.
My mom!
Ok, this wasn’t Oak Alley – this was on our gator tour! Kelsey held a tiny gator (they said she was three years old).
Oak Alley Plantation is AMAZING!
