Happy snow day! Here in MD we have had a steady flurry of HUGE, wet snowflakes all day. Normally, the dogs love the snow, but as soon as we got outside, they both stopped on the porch and just stood there. This snow feels like rain! It was pretty warm here yesterday, so perhaps that made the snow “weird.” But it is nice to finally have a snow storm here in MD – this has been a really mild winter! But after this clears up, I am so ready for spring and those WARM, sunny days!!
Not so sure about this scarf… or this snow!
So since the snow isn’t so fun today, we stayed indoors and baked pretzels! I don’t think I have ever made pretzels before, but these are WAY yummier than the frozen ones. I even made a cinnamon-sugar one! This was all Justin’s idea (and that’s his hand with that huge spoonful of butter!), which is so cute. He doesn’t love cooking, so it was nice to see him so inspired to make pretzels. We definitely made them too big – we neglected the section of the recipe that said it would make TEN. We only made SIX! (I swiped one to taste-test while Justin put butter on the rest). So these were HUGE pretzels, but still SO good, and perfect on this chilly day.
