Taylor + Tony, a Christmas Bowles Farm Wedding

Taylor and Tony were married December 16 at Christ Church in La Plata, Maryland, and then celebrated their marriage with a beautiful wedding reception at Bowles Farm in Clements, Maryland.

Taylor and Tony’s fairytale romance seems like it was meant to be; these two first met in elementary school and even danced together at their eighth grade formal. But Taylor and Tony went to different high schools and lost touch over the years. Luckily, fate led these two back together. Tony joined the military after high school, and five years later, in October 2016, Taylor and Tony reconnected through Facebook. When Tony returned home, he and Taylor were inseparable, and this past August, Tony proposed to Taylor on a beautiful beach. Taylor’s mother began planning Tony and Taylor’s beautiful Bowles Farm wedding, and now, these two are husband and wife!

Tony returned home for the first time last December, so it was important for Taylor and Tony to honor how special the month of December is to them by celebrating their wedding this month. Taylor and Tony also incorporated a Christmas theme because their wedding was just nine days before Christmas and Tony’s favorite time of year is the Christmas season – and it was beautiful! Taylor chose ivory, Burgundy, and gold as their color palette, and it was stunning. Bowles Farm was gorgeous and the decor was so pretty. Just wait until you see their beautiful rustic Christmas wedding!

Taylor’s sweet daughter, Summer, was included throughout the day in many special ways. Taylor started the day by getting ready with her bridal party and Summer (and the two wore matching Christmas pajamas! So cute!). During the ceremony, Tony gave Summer a special piece of jewelry – a heart ring just for her – and a big hug as they became a family, and at sunset, Taylor, Tony, and Summer got some GORGEOUS sunset portraits together. These three are such a beautiful family!

Taylor and Tony began their day getting ready separately at a beautiful waterfront home before heading to Christ Church for their first look – when Taylor walked down the aisle! After their ceremony, Taylor, Tony, their wedding party, and their guests headed to Bowles Farm. After some beautiful portraits around the farm, Taylor and Tony’s wedding reception began! The DJ made sure this was a fun wedding for the kids that were invited too, and everyone enjoyed the delicious Krispy Kreme donuts that Taylor and Tony had for guests to take home as a favor. After speeches, Taylor, Tony, and Summer stepped outside for some gorgeous sunset pictures, and later, Taylor and Tony went outside for some BEAUTIFUL night portraits. Just wait until you see their last portrait!

It may have been December, but the weather was INCREDIBLE for Taylor and Tony’s big day! It was sunny, fairly warm (for December!), and just an overall beautiful day. Taylor and Tony were so lucky to have such spectacular December weather! Leading up to their wedding, there was actually a chance of a major snowstorm arriving on December 15 – the day before their wedding – but thankfully the forecast changed and these two had a spectacular day.
