Zoe + KC, a Christmas Engagement Session at the Shrine of St. Anthony

I am SO excited to share Zoe and KC’s gorgeous engagement session!! KC lives in Germany, while Zoe lives here in Maryland, so I was so glad that we were able to find a time during KC’s visit home for Zoe and KC’s engagement session! And while it was just days before Christmas, it was surprisingly warm for December. We met at the Shrine of St. Anthony, which is just down the road from Zoe and KC’s parents’ houses, and from my own house! :) Zoe had been to the Shrine of St. Anthony with her church, St. Louis, so it was a perfect choice!

Zoe and KC met at college at St. Mary’s College; in fact, these two met in the gym! Zoe and KC have both played soccer for many years, and their love of soccer connected them instantly. Zoe just finished her senior year season at St. Mary’s College, and KC plays soccer professionally! Over the summer, KC surprised Zoe by proposing in the same training gym where these two met – complete with their parents and trainer! Now these two are planning their 2019 wedding, and I am SO excited and honored to celebrate with them!! I have known Zoe nearly her entire life; when she was just a few years old, Zoe’s family moved just down the street from where my family and I lived, and we have grown up together! Zoe is one of the sweetest, most beautiful people – inside and out – and it was so nice to meet KC because he is just as kind as Zoe! These two care for each other so much, and I am so excited to see what the future holds for them. Congratulations, Zoe and KC!! I can’t wait to celebrate with you this summer!!

OH MY GOODNESS!! How gorgeous is Zoe’s ring? KC had Zoe’s ring custom designed at Edward Arthur jewelers in Columbia, Maryland – which is the same place where Zoe’s dad got Zoe’s mom’s engagement ring years before!!

We had the prettiest light!!

I love how snuggly this is!! Even though the day started warm, as soon as the sun set, it was pretty chilly – but these two kept each other warm!
